「慶典將神明的世界、神話傳奇以及戲曲、古代人物甚至是現代人收攏在一起。當觀眾翻開作品：『啊，這是我們的王爺』、『這個神將是?』……，這時我覺得我的作品是活生生的，走入民間的。走回畫上眾生生活的地方。」

看熱鬧、慶典風景是蟾蜍先生作品中常見的母題。《大拜拜》是蟾蜍先生以日記記錄神話慶典鮮活過程的集合。

「拜拜慶典將神明的世界、神話情節、傳奇小說甚至是戲曲人物、古代人物與參與其中的現代人都收攏在一起。

我很喜歡畫神將。神將們穿著閃亮亮色彩鮮豔的繡袍，戴著金光閃閃鑲滿人造寶石的頭盔，長長的手臂晃呀晃，繡袍上用金線繡成的龍鳳與獅子隨著甩呀甩，炫目無比，神將穿梭在遊行隊伍中，帥到不行。」
