文字深深影響了 Beryl Wu 的創作，在許多插畫中會融入文字在其中，在許多時候是先寫下一段話，才畫出一個畫面的。這本書分成三個章節，第一篇章紀錄了一些故事，從電影中、書本中以及生活裡遇見的對話；第二個篇章是 Beryl 初期系列作品的整合，也是她開始插畫創作的起點；最後一個篇章則是 Beryl 記錄下生命中過客的故事集。除了以往的插畫以外，是本混合了許多文字的畫冊，讓觀者除了繪圖以外，還可以看見 Beryl 生活的縮影。

Beryl Wu 跟Risograph 印刷工作室 meadowroom 一起合作出版了這本《Diary：The people I’ve met, the words I’ve heard, and the views I’ve seen.》，這本書是Beryl 首次孔版印刷的出版，也是 meadowroom 的第一本合作出版書籍。
