「A Daily Act」由研究組織 Atelier HOKO 發起和執行，源自新加坡美術館委託的 The Everyday Museum 藝術倡議，旨在推動公共空間的藝術實踐。

透過喚起奔波的人們對於事物的好奇，A Daily Act 設計了一系列印有指令的傳單、布條和明信片，張貼和分發至街道、店家和住家附近，希望藉由讓人們停下腳步、閱讀同時執行諸如「對你的水槽排水孔說一個秘密」、「在另外一個角落刷牙」、「跟著洗衣機的節奏跳舞」等無俚頭的指令，促使人們以新的眼光檢視日常，探索自身行為、作息和環境互動的細節。

《A Daily Act: Workbook》書籍內容分為兩大部分，前半部是條列出指令的練習本以及A Daily Act計畫相關的影像及指令設置平面圖；後半部則列出了和「公共藝術」相關的三十個提問，及由各處蒐羅而來的論述或感想，邀請讀者在閱讀的同時思考和回應。

Atelier HOKO
來自新加坡的雙人團隊，由 Clara Koh 和 Alvin Ho 創立於2002年，專注於研究人、物和空間之間逐漸疏離的關係，希望藉由出版、策展等活動，激發人們對習以為常事物的好奇，並日漸培養起對於萬物的開放態度。 
Atelier HOKO 五月初剛結束由東京藝術書展團隊邀約舉辦的「Book?」三日展出，希望藉由策展提供重新審視書籍本質的機會，藉此反思「閱讀行為本身」，以及它所喚起的感知經驗。其中包含了他們製作的 Science of Secondary 系列的多期刊物，在朋丁都可以找到，歡迎來店翻閱及購買。
