Description

Lagon is a magazine of prospective comics. It focuses on new forms of graphic narration.

Founded in 2014 by Alexis Beauclair, Bettina Henni, Séverine Bascouert and Sammy Stein, it is now run by Séverine Bascouert, Sammy Stein and Jean-Philippe Bretin. It is edited and distributed by its members.

Bilingual (French/English), it is partly printed and diffused by the editorial team and changes its name with each new volume.

“Playing on contrasts between formats, printing techniques and modes of expression, these patiently composed and never reprinted issues invite us to discover how cartoonists free themselves from traditional codes to imagine other ways of unfolding worlds and telling stories.” — Mathieu Potte-Bonneville
