Description

o.T

Martha Burger studied illustration in Berlin and Halle. She makes non-linear comics and paintings in which she reflects daily life. She transforms overlooked spaces and moments into beautiful scenes, leaving space for an open narrative.

In her publication 'o.T.' (ohne Titel) she illustrates silent and small events in nature as recurring short visual stories. In the silence of nature, something moves between the reeds, or in the air. Almost nothing happens. Trees rustle in the wind, water surfaces ripple. The short series of images and images show an untouched place, which could be anywhere. This stillness, which is still in motion, is translated by Knust into a small Riso Ko Zine publication.
