The book explores Singapore’s discarded furniture and HDB environments through photography, research, interviews, and practical craft knowledge. Rather than simply looking at waste as something to be disposed of, Refuse looks at how discarded objects can become sources of materials for making.
The book has been presented at the Singapore Art Book Fair in 2024 and 2025, featured as part of DesignSingapore Council’s Future Impact 3: DESIGN NATION at Milan Design Week 2025, and has also reached international audiences including Printed Matter in New York. It will also be presented at The Fake Art Book Fair in Taiwan this October.
