人類長期以來倚賴垃圾桶來清理各式不同種類的垃圾,每日產生或多或少的將它裝滿,當惡臭變得難以忍受時,一個倒霉的人即面臨清空它的可怕任務。然而,令人好奇的是,在世界上沒有人類觸及的地方,不曾看過或聽說過垃圾桶的存在,在我們開始想像動物每晚焚燒自己垃圾的場景之前,更好的解釋是垃圾的概念在自然界中不存在,因此不需要垃圾桶的存在。

Atelier HOKO (2002) 是一個獨立的研究實驗單位,由 Alvin Ho Clara Koh 創立,專注於研究人、事、物和空間之間日益脫離的關係。希望培養人的開放性和未知的能力,透過帶著新鮮的視角重新檢視現實生活來提高對所有現象的好奇心。
