The inspiration of the illustrations in HOHO Sketch Book is mostly from her daily life. “Writing makes you live twice.” is a saying that HoHo always liked, she has a similar feeling but with drawing when she documents her life with drawings. In the process of converting abstract things like memories or thoughts into physical drawings, those memories and thoughts transform and evolve into another form. HoHo finds the gap between what these abstract things make the audiences feel versus what really transpired deeply fascinating.
