Sun Me to See I Dream’ is a collection of photography and poetry from Audrey Huis. All the poems are composed on typewriters on recycled antique paper and scanned for archiving. Her work is dark, gentle, and
hauntingly beautiful, and was recently exhibited in Maastricht in June, 2023.

‘Horse and bucket
Show up lightly, that
Is enough
In which to carry a horse
And bucket.
A mountain too, on your back
Nowhere near, a flowering of stars.
Show up lightly in yellowed grass,
A serpent path sunning beside you.
In the absence of wind, let it sleep wild
And a moon, red or blue, crack.
See the hours fall from black
Shade of day, and walk.
