Description

We are two designers who find joy in handcrafted creations. Around two years ago, a significant event inspired us to begin making ceramic piri(whistles). This project, rooted in the theme of mourning, uses the sound produced by natural elements—earth, water, fire, and air—to communicate with and remember those who are no longer with us, as well as to find the strength to move forward.


The book is an archive of over 100 ceramic whistles we’ve created over the past two years. The front and back covers feature embossed designs inspired by the shape of whistles we made, and the book is bound with exposed stitching.
