她將漢字化身成圖文，以圖形來表現各種漢字的意義。此表現手法是受到漢字文化中孕育的 "民間藝術字 "的影響。而這本書是從她迄今為止發表過的作品中精選出來的手工木刻版畫集。這可以作為版畫集來看，也能拆開當成一張一張的小海報。
