Walk in the forest | Breathe in the ocean

When I was a child, the small park in my neighborhood was a forest. I thought I could breathe even under the sea. I could talk to animals and plants. Reality and dreams were mixed together. My body was neither male nor female, neither human nor animal, and the differences between me and you were vague.

This zine is a collection of akikoba's drawings done in 2024, Spring. It can be read from both the front and the back.

This series of works was born as akikoba faced her childhood memories and feelings. She believes that by gaining deep insight into her own inner self and sharing her personal works, She will be able to engage in deeper dialogue with viewers.
