《We Will Never Have Earthquakes》來自新加坡藝術家 Ryan，收錄了他 2020 年至 2024 年間的作品，包含展出時的裝置紀錄、影像和短文。

全書分為七個章節，描寫生活中如慢性頭痛、地震及餘震、桌上的咖啡、電影《Casablanca》（北非諜影）、房間中的踢腳板、疑似感冒前兆等等事件，藉以探索日常發生變動時，人事物經歷的轉換與開展過程、以及其所產生的擾動和不適。書中也引用了許多關於地震的網路和報章言論，紀述鄰近國家發生強震、使新加坡也產生震顫時，非處地震帶的新加坡人如何看待和感受非理論、經驗所能觀照的震盪。

Ryan Lim Zi Yi 是一位新加坡藝術家，透過影像、雕塑和文字進行裝置創作，重新梳理公共和私人空間背景中的細節，探索平凡事物中不引人注目的韻律。他的作品在國內和 Temporary Unit，I_S_L_A_N_D_S，Comma Space等多個空間合作展出，亦曾於台灣、俄羅斯、荷蘭等多國展出。最近的主要計畫為《Robin》，以露營帳篷的形式在新加坡各地展出他 2022 至 2023 年間的創作。
